It’s written in the same style as a form used by the (slightly out of period) Polish poet Maciej Kazimierz Sarbiewski (1595-1640).
Now comes Pan Zygmunt and his wife
Twenty years they’d made their life
Through times of good and times of strife
With heart and more he loves
To fill the space between the stars
Three children born have left their scars
To be without, a bridge too far
He, Maddie, holds above
Her heraldry he bears this day
When lost she e’re shows him the way
So eagerly into the fray
Make her Queen of the land
Laurel, Warder, he’d lose them all
Let all of MidRealm hear his call
Win or lose, Zygmunt, rise or fall
Will crown her by his hand.
